As of September 1, 2016, we now make all of our foods in a Top 8 Allergen-Free dedicated facility.  Our team is as passionate about how our food tastes as we are about quality and safety. We source only simple, high quality ingredients.

Our treats are crafted by chocolatiers and made in small batches by a caring team. We want you to know that we get it. Our passion comes from personal experience. Members of our team, from those working the lines to the founding partners, manage their own personal food allergies. We believe that food is about love and celebration, not deprivation.

Q: Are free2b Foods free from common allergens?

A: Free2b Foods is dedicated to providing safe and delicious treats for everyone.  On September 1, 2016, we eliminated dairy from our recipes and our facility, and we are now proudly a Top 8 Allergen-Free dedicated facility. All of our products are now peanut-free, treenut-free, gluten-free, soy-free, egg-free, fish and shellfish-free and dairy free.  Our products are also free from other common allergens including: sesame, coconut, corn, legumes (pea) and sulfur.

Q: Why did you change your name from Sun Cups? 

A: Our name change highlights our dedication to being free from top allergens. We understand the needs of today’s families who have restricted diets due to food allergies, intolerances, health and wellness drivers or personal reasons. We want to offer a variety of solutions. We started with our delicious Sun Cups, and today, Free2b Foods offers an even wider variety of safe and delicious snacks.

Q: Are free2b Foods peanut-free?

A: Yes, all of our products are completely peanut-free.  Peanuts never even enter our production facility.

Q: Are free2b Foods tree-nut free?

A: Yes, all of our products are completely tree-nut free.  We do not even let tree-nuts into our facility.  

Q: Are free2b Foods dairy-free?

A: Yes, as of September 1, 2016 our products are dairy free. Keep in mind that it will take 3-6 months before these will be easy to find in stores while retailers sell through existing inventories. But, you can order our dairy-free (Top 8 Allergen-Free) snacks now on

Q: Are free2b Foods egg-free?

A: Yes, all of our products are egg-free.

Q: Are free2b Foods corn-free?

A:  Yes, all of our products are corn-free.

Q: Do free2b Foods contain hydrogenated oils or trans fats?

A: No, never have and never will.

Q: Where are your products manufactured?

A: All of our products are manufactured in our dedicated Top 8 Allergen-Free facility in Boulder, Colorado.

A: Yes, our products are certified Kosher by EarthKosher.  EarthKosher is an Orthodox Kosher Certification company.

Q: Are your products Gluten Free and safe for those with Celiac disease or gluten intolerance?

Yes, our products are certified gluten free by the Celiac Sprue Association.

Q: Do free2b Foods contain GMOs?

A: No, here at Free2b Foods, we share the same concerns that American families and families around the world do about GMOs, so all of our products are Non-GMO Project Verified.

Q: Do free2b Foods contain artificial dyes?

A: We have never used them and never will!

Q: Do free2b Foods contain high fructose corn syrup? 

A: Never have, never will.

Q: Is your chocolate Rainforest Alliance Certified?

A: Yes, all of our chocolate is Rainforest Alliance Certified.  This means, we source our chocolate from farms that take care of the environment and their workers.  We wouldn’t have it any other way.
